How can i be prepared to move?
When it comes to moving the best thing you can do is to be prepared, but how? Here are some tips and recommendations!
We recommend you to have all your small items and belongings already boxed up, this way the movers won’t waste time and your move experince will be smooth and efficient!}
Our movers will take all your boxes with no problem! We also recommend you to mark the ones that contain fragile items such as glasses, dishes, containers with liquids, jewelry, etc…
Clothes packing ideas!
You can use boxes to pack your clothes, however another good way to pack them is using plastic bags with hangers!
And as we mentioned in one of our FAQs, you can also leave your clothes inside the drawers!
Should i leave clothes inside the drawers?
We recommend you to empty all your dressers, however we know that sometimes you run out of boxes. In that case, it would be best to leave the clothes inside the drawers.
Movers will take your dressers like that as long as you don’t leave any breakable items inside of it.
Will your company provide insurance for my move?
We provide basic shipping insurance valued at $.60 per pound required by state law. However, our cargo insurance covers up to $25,000 in case of complete loss when transporting. Please be sure to check over our policies and procedures/ limits of liability.
Movers will take your dressers like that as long as you don’t leave any breakable items inside of it.
Do you move pianos, gun safes, etc...?
This is all on a case-by-case basis. We do move most upright pianos with no problem. We typically contract out a company for baby grand pianos and so on. We are able to move gun safes but will need specifications about the particular model you are needing moved.
Disassemble & reassemble furniture!
This is a part of the moving process that some people struggle with! But let me tell you that there’s nothing to be worry about! Our movers will take care of that no problem! However if you want to do it because it is not an issue for you that’s fine! Having your furniture already taken apart helps to speed up your move, and you know when it comes to moving if you save time you save money!!!
